On Saturday, February 18th, the state of Mato Grosso, one of the biggest in terms of territory in Brazil and known for its large soy production, elected its representatives for Miss and Mister Brazil World 2017. Sixteen young women and sixteen young men competed in the city of Cuiabá in a serie of events. The new Miss Mato Grosso CNB is Bárbara Reis, a 19 years old Law student from the city of Sinop. Mister Mato Grosso 2017 is Leonardo Manegon, a 24 years old Medicine student who hails from the city of Várzea Grande and who speaks four languages.
