Happiness is when family and friends are healthy, to save this is necessary to spend more time with yours loved ones.

DANIELA GODS-ROMANOVSKA

Age: 18; Hight: 171 cm

Hobbies: In my free time, I am learning French and I continue to practize playing piano and the saxophone. I am also dancing jazz and I take part in a wide selection of sport classes. Additionally I am a volunteer in variety of sport events.

Education: High school graduate 

Why have you decided to participate in Miss Latvia 2016? I am keen to fulfill myself to perfection, therefore I strongly believe that this event is well-suited for realizing my aims.

Why exactly you have to win Miss Latvia 2016? Being aware of my abilities I should hold the title of Miss Latvia 2016, I would bear this honour with the full realisation of my responsibilities and I will represent my country Latvia, not only with outstanding educational achievements but also with my newly acquired title I am surrounded by people who inspires and supports me and enable me to feel lucky. Moreover, I want to inspire others in a similar way, therefore, the members of society would believe in themselves .

JULIJA SCETINA

Age: 25; Hight: 170 cm

Hobbies: In my free time I like to visit my relatives or friends outside of Riga. I often watch old Hollywood movies, go to ballet, and do other things that can inspire me. I especially like to drink coffee, read interesting books and write new scripts. I love to play piano, as I believe that music helps to come up with new thoughts and heats up the soul. 

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, LU- PR, Advertising and Journalism; Master’s degree in Audiovisual Media Arts, Riga ISEBA; Master’s degree, Audencia Nantes School of Management (France)

Why have you decided to participate in Miss Latvia 2016? I believe it is the fairest and most significant contest, of such type, in our country. I like the ideology and criteria for evaluation of participants - not only the outside looks, but also the personality, intelligence and artistic potential. By taking part in the contest, I am getting a great experience, that can help me in the future. This contest is providing us with the new opportunities, and that is very important for me.

Why exactly you have to win Miss Latvia 2016? The participation itself, is a big step forward, and I am getting a lot of positive emotions every day, that I am spending as a part of this contest. Of course, It would be the greatest pleasure for me, to be a winner, and I think that my talents, values of life and my inner world, gives me that chance.

What the luck means to you and how to keep it? Happiness is a condition that resembles clear and peaceful horizon - a condition that gives no need, to worry about something. 

How could you promote Latvia in 5 words? Heartfulness, nature, nationality, naturalness, freshness.

KINTIJA KRASTINA

Age: 23; Height: 173 cm 

Education:  Latvian Collage of Culture as a culture manager with event management specialty,Current studying at ISMA a business manager.    

Hobbies:  In my spare time I enjoy smiling, laughing and just being over relaxed around people. I like to be friendly and learn from everyone I meet. I love to be close to the nature, spending time with my family, do sports, read books, and enjoy doing lot of other things, which makes my day joyous. 

Why have you decided to participate in Miss Latvia 2016? Because investing in yourself may be the most valuable investment you ever make.  

Why exactly you have to win Miss Latvia 2016? I believe if a person is able to dream about something, then he can also achieve it. And I believe that every single thing I do with good intentions will also make people feel happier in future.  

What for you is happiness and how to keep it? Happiness is to be happy and for me it means to love life, yourself and others. Happiness also means to notice the good in everything and doing what you love every moment of your life.   

How could you promote Latvia in 5 words? Latvia is a beautiful and blessed land.

SABINA SAHAROVA

Age: 21; Hight: 187 cm

Education: Student at Riga Technical University

Hobbies: At the moment all my free time is taken by sport, which I really enjoy, but when I have couple of free hours, I like to bake cakes. Mostly I like the process, especially decorating the cake. Also I like to spend time with my family or with my friends. 

Why have you decided to participate in Miss Latvia 2016? I’m sure, that taking part in this contest will be an amazing journey, which will give me new emotions, new friends and opportunities, and of course will help to improve myself and make me stronger.

Why exactly you have to win Miss Latvia 2016? I think that thanks to my attitude, diligence and hard work, I will show that I’m the one, who could represent Latvia with pride on international level. 

What for you is happiness and how to keep it? For me happiness cannot be measured. Of course I’m happy, when I know that everything is alright with my family, friends, when everything in my own life is doing good, and when my dreams and wishes come true.it is necessary to keep doing those things, which make you feel happy, develop yourself and set new goals, otherwise you will think about happiness like about something, that happened in the past, instead of feeling happy in present. 

How could you promote Latvia in 5 words?  Green, exquisite, snug, creative, musical.

VIOLA AGEJEVA

Age: 19; Hight: 169 cm

Hobbies: Drawing, reading, blogging, writing articles, learning foreign languages

Why have you decided to participate in Miss Latvia 2016? To try myself in a completely new field - modeling

Why exactly you have to win Miss Latvia 2016? To prove myself that I can achieve everything I want.

What the luck means to you and how to keep it? 

Happiness - is the implementation of all your goals and plans. In order to keep that happiness, you shouldn't stop at what you have already achieved

LINDA KINCA

Age: 18; Hight: 172 cm

Education: High school of Kekava

Hobbies: I devote my spare time to my favorite hobby – rhythmic gymnastics. Additionally, I take part in conducting various cultural events. 

Why have you decided to participate in Miss Latvia 2016?It is a big challenge for me on learning more about myself. I think that this is my  chance to obtain new experience, to explore show business and to meet creative people. 

Why exactly you have to win Miss Latvia 2016?I wish to bring Latvia’s name further into the world. 

What for you is happiness and how to keep it? Happiness is to be happy at my home, to surround myself with my closest, dearest people and to do what I love. I try to preserve my happiness by respecting, loving and taking care of it all. 

How could you promote Latvia in 5 words? Sea, sun, forests, small, dear. 

KATRINA SKELE

Age: 21; Hight: 174 cm

Education: Currently studying international business administration at Riga Business School. 

Hobbies: Right from childhood my hobby is Latvian folk dances. While dancing for 17 years, I have experienced a fabulously beautiful moments and have overcome a variety of difficulties. Besides dancing, I have been very close to Latvia, nature and adventures, therefore I`m a member of Latvian Scout & Guide Central organization. 

Why did you decide to participate in the Miss Latvia 2016? I like to keep moving, to challenge myself and to get involved in interesting projects such as Miss and Mr. Latvia. I believe that this contest is a great opportunity to gain new experience, to develop myself both physically and emotionally and eventually get an unforgettable and pleasant memories. 

 Why exactly you have to win Miss Latvia 2016? For me it is an opportunity to prove that the true beauty of human comes from his or her personality, self-confidence, greatness and life values. I believe that by winning the Miss and Mr. Latvia 2016, I would have the opportunity to demonstrate not only to the society of Latvia but also to the whole world that the real beauty lies in the essence of human.  

What for you is happiness and how to keep it? Happiness is like a string of pearls where each bead is like a small moment of happiness in human life. Each bead occurs when you are doing what you love and help others. In my opinion, it is also a way of how to keep happiness - to love yourself, to love what you are doing and to give help to people around you.  

How could you promote Latvia in 5 words? Folkdances, Dainas (folksongs), nature, amber, beauty.
