Sanneta Myrie was crowned Miss Jamaica World on August 15 at the Montego Bay Convention Centre in St James. Sanneta, 24, was one of 20 contestants at the event, which was witnessed by reigning Miss World Rolene Strauss. Sanneta is a medical doctor and also mentors youth in Kingston's inner-city communities.
